This is a post especially for Mr. Olav and Birgit Tegle who lives on a farm in Norway. In the Kolomani village this February, we all saw clear results from the donations they made last year.
Last year GAD planned to increase agriculture to become more and more financially independent. Now it’s about to happen with the Olave Tegle shamba (swahili for small field), purchased and cultivated with donations made by Mr. and Mrs. Tegle last year!
Out of 500 kg of cassava from the Olave shamba, some will be given to elders and some will be sold to support medical treatment for orphans and elders.
Warm thanks to our fellow Norwegian farmer friends (pictured below), who made this possible!
Would you like to have a shamba or a health project named after you as well? Make a donation and let´s stay in touch!
